HOW I WORK

I’m a mechanical engineer who prefers to stay close to the hardware. I enjoy taking ideas from early concept through prototyping, fabrication, and iteration, and I work best when I can see a design progress from something abstract into a functioning system that can be tested and improved.

My experience spans mechanical design, hands-on prototyping, and electromechanical integration. I’m comfortable moving between CAD, fabrication, basic electronics, and embedded systems, which allows me to work end-to-end rather than in isolation. I value practical, manufacturable solutions informed by real constraints, and I place a strong emphasis on building systems that are robust, understandable, and maintainable.

I tend to gravitate toward problems that are not fully defined at the start. I enjoy clarifying requirements, making early tradeoffs, and iterating quickly to learn what actually works. That process, designing, building, testing, and refining, shapes how I approach engineering work at every scale.

WHAT GROUNDS ME

Outside of engineering, my family is the center of my life. Being a husband and a father has shaped how I approach both my work and my priorities, reinforcing the importance of reliability, thoughtfulness, and building things with care and intention.

Family life has given me a long term perspective that carries into my professional work. I care about doing work I can stand behind—work that is useful, durable, and made with attention to detail. It has also strengthened my appreciation for balance, responsibility, and the value of steady progress over quick wins.

That grounding motivates me to keep learning, to take pride in my craft, and to contribute to work that is meant to last, both professionally and personally.
